This is gonna be pretty similar to the Articles Submission page,
but it's important!
The
Purpose Of This Page
Every website,
paranormal group, or organization eventually reaches a point where
they're doing something that they feel is important to the community,
or something that they feel is so important to them that they have to
tell everyone about. So what do they do?
A press release. Unfortunately, in the paranormal community, there
aren't a lot of places to send your news to. There ARE a few sites that
handles paranormal news and information about other groups and sites,
but they're few and far between.
Well, now... There's one more.
If you have a website or organization that has news from time to time
that you would like to get out to the paranormal community, keep
reading. If not, you're welcome to click the button below to view the
News and Press releases submitted to our site by other sites and groups
all over the net!

A message to you paranormal webmasters...
A lot of the inspiration that went into me making this website was to
provide support for as many people as I can in the paranormal
community. This page is no different. If you have a website, or
organization, and you want to get your word out about your events,
radio shows, contests, or whatever else. I WANT to help you!
I'm willing to put everything aside to do that. I mean, we
all have different beliefs when it comes to paranormal. Some of us look
at things from a scientific mind, and everything's in black and white.
Others sense or feel things, and don't care at all about the scientists
little gadgets. Others see an orb and claim a place to be haunted.
So what?!
I want everyone to benefit from this, regardless of whether we agree on
this stuff or not.
ALSO... All News and Press Releases written will immediately be sent
out
to other
paranormal websites VIA our Paranormal RSS Feed. You
may be getting more readers than expected!
We also encourage you to display our feeds on your website
or link back. The more people that see the feed, the more people will
see YOUR information.
Submission Instructions
This is very simple. If you have Paranormal News or a Press Release,
just email it to me. My email is BeyonderBill@yahoo.com. Just be sure
that you leave me a little not to tell me what you're sending. This is
also my personal email, and I get a lot of email about a lot of things.
Just be clear about what you're sending.
I will add it to the News & Press Release pages VERBATIM.
If you have images that go along with your writings, you
may attach them to the email as well. Sometimes, a good article is
punctuated wonderfully by some well placed pictures.
Here
are some things that you'll need to know:
We
don't have a lot of rules, but there ARE a few things to keep in mind.
- This will be used for important things. PLEASE be objective
about what you send. This is not the bulletin area of Myspace where you
can post 20 things in a day to get your word out.
- We will accept REAL News and Releases that could be
important to the entire community ONLY. If you just did an
investigation that you're happy about. That's great, but it's not
relevant to the entire paranormal community. With that in mind, if
you're planning a convention or something.... That warrants some
coverage here.
- PLEASE DO NOT USE ALL CAPS! Especially in the beginning of the entry. It makes the RSS Feed look goofy!
Lastly, we'd like to accept everything that is
sent to us, but in my time working with this site, I've learned that
submissions aren't always legible, and sometimes aren't even in any
real human language. If the article or editorial is written in
gibberish, or TOO much of a 'fixer upper', I'm afraid we will not be
able to publish it.
Regular Submissions
Over time, certain webmasters may have sent many News Articles and
Press Releases for publication here on The Beyond. Over time, you may
develop a rapport and trust with our staff here.
It's a natural
thing.
The News & Press Release pages are really nothing
more than a modified, but standard web log. But, it's a private
one. Once a webmaster has sent some News or releases, and has followed
all the
rules, and earned some trust, they may be offered a user name &
password that will enable them to write, and post their News at
will.
For those of you that have the ability to post your news like this,
there are a few requests in addition to the rules
mentioned above.
- Please don't go crazy with it. Naturally, we're grateful for
you writing, but odds are that your group doesn't need to post often at
all. I mean, how often does a paranormal group do something, or host an
event thats noteworthy to the entire paranormal community?
- Please contact me when you add information to
the site. If you have the ability to post on the site, you already know
how to get in touch with me. I'm the easiest person to get in touch
with in the history of the world.
- This is NOT a personal blog for you to talk about going to
the store, or about going out on a Friday night. Keep ALL news
relevant. Think of it as if you were writing a column for a paranormal
newspaper.
- Join our Message Board.
This is not a demand, but just a request so we can keep in touch easily.
