   Our next investigation as a team was conducted in Fitzgerald Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan along 'The Ledges' which were carved over time by The Grand River.

   Now, like many parks all over the country, this one is not without its share of history. Over the years, the area had seen many different types of settlers and travelers. The earliest were Indian tribes led by the famous Chief Okemos who later called the area 'Big Rocks'. Famous for what? I don't know. In every text I've read while doing research for this thing, Chief Okemos was called "The Famous Chief Okemos".

   There was also a group called The Grand Ledge Spiritualist Camp Association who settled there in 1894. They built a large pavilion which is still there to this day. Spiritualists continued to flock to the area until the turn of the century.

I'm gonna be honest with ya. This is going to be a pretty short report. As far as I'm concerned, we got nothing. On this page I'll give you a quick rundown of the day, and show you a few pictures that were captured.

First off, regardless, of if I consider the investigation a success or not, I DO feel it necessary to state that I did enjoy hanging out with my team. It was a beautiful day, and the park was full of people. It was more of a day just to talk and get to know everyone better, which I think definitely made the day worthwhile.

This first picture is of a toad.

Yup, a toad.

If you look in the crack of the rock, you can clearly see his little head sitting there looking at us. Below him is a tiny orb, and above him is a larger orb. I wish I could say that I thought that the orbs indicated some sort of spiritual presence, but I can't. It's a definate possibility that the toad MAY be highly skilled in astral projection. More study is clearly required.

   There actually was one area of the park that caught my attention. When we first got there, and were heading down toward the ledges and the river, to the left of us there was a large red 'barn type thing'. I couldn't find any information there about what this building was actually supposed to be, but one member of my team said that was an old playhouse.

   This is going to sound silly, so bear with me and don't make too much fun of me. (A little fun is ok, but don't go too far.) As I walked by the red barn, I felt drawn to the area. I can't think of any other way to describe it. Other members of my team may remember this, but I think I said something like, "On the way back, I'd like to check this barn area a little closer."

   We kept walking, and went down the stairs to the ledges area. Thats where most of the day was spent, just walking along the river, taking pictures of rocks and toads.

OOH! One of my team got a picture of a spider!

   On the way back, I think most if not all of us had the same thing on our minds. Although this place definitely has its share of scenic beauty, it didn't seem to have any spiritual vibe to it. At the same time, and I don't want to speak for everyone, but I think we all had a good time anyway.

   When we returned to the barn area, I wanted to take a minute, and snap some pictures. Coincidentally, out of all the places in the park in which I had taken pictures, THIS particular area had the most anomalies. What does that mean?

Dunno.

More dust maybe, but I predicted it!

The images above are of the barn area. All three have anomalies in them. It was daytime, so they might be hard to make out, but I assure you that they're there.

It may sound silly, but I wouldn't mind returning to the area again some EVENING. The barn area still intrigues me for some reason. I'm weird.
