I have experienced something similar but not the same as described. It first started about 9+ months ago. I had gone to bed with my husband. We had just shut the television off and I was starting to drift off to sleep. I was laying on my side with my arm thrown over my hip my back to the room. I suddenly felt a hand on my wrist. At first I thought it was my mother who had visited frequently after her passing. Almost immediately the hand went from a hand to what could best be described as a crone like claw (very long sharp nails) The grip tightened and although I was deeply terrified I could not move or scream. I fought for what felt like several moments before I was able to sit up in bed. My husband was staring at me he said “what just happened?’ I was nearly hysterical. I told him what I had felt, He turned on the bedside lamp and we looked at my wrist. There were three nail marks on the underside of my wrist. I could not have made them myself since my other arm had been draped over my husband. Since then I have not experienced that sort of thing but have frequently seen what I can only describe as a dark figure (not exactly human shape) standing at my side of our bed. Recently my animals have begun to exhibit strange paranoid behaviour at night starting at around 12:30-1:00 am.
